We are a nonprofit organization based in Palo Alto, California providing services to the local community which are created, implemented and delivered by local youth. The services are fee based with the proceeds going directly to the youth.

• Personal services for youngsters: small group parties, mentoring, tutoring, babysitting
• Youth Squad partners with Green Java to deliver Eco-friendly coffee
  

Services are directly performed by youth, typically Juniors or Seniors in high school, who are trained or supervised by skilled personal. Many services require some expertise and attention to detail, which the youth acquire from developed procedures and (of course) actual experience.
 
Listed services and jobs form a basis for future undertakings. We hope you find the energy and enthusiasm refreshing, and their contributions significant. Most Youth Squad members participate in extracurricular activities like music or sports and therefore we try to work around school schedules. Of course summer affords more opportunities for the Youthsquad.

Jobs are also created by client suggestions. A mom may like to have an older music enthusiast mentor her son or daughter without the intensity of an actual lesson. A senior citizen who may delay odd jobs around the house for lack of strength or dexterity can  guide an older teenager through the tasks and pass on some wisdom. How about gathering  a group of moms or dads for a hands on tutorial into useful technology as understood and used by these young adults. You can learn to use Skype, Facebook, Twitter, and an easy alternative to 4 different remote controls. Sometimes the youth already know the technology, and sometimes they will do the research to provide the procedure or suggestion that allows you to enjoy rather than curse some products

We want to match work that needs to be done with youth willing and eager to learn while they earn. Most jobs are defined by objective although some jobs are based on an hourly rate. For each job a specific Youth Squad member is assigned and Charlie (charlie@youthsquad.org) is the adult contact before, during and after a job.
